well, i am feeling really sleepy right now. right at this moment.but somehow i wanted to wait for my dear mr ang to finish bathing so that i can talk to him on the phone before i officially fell asleep on my cosy bed later. my cough got better, after consuming some of mr ang's miraculously-sleepish cough syrup for the last few days. spent the entire day clearing my desk, and to be precise, i only cleared half of it. most of the things that i cleared were left-overs by my brother( previously we shared the same room, but he moved to the other room without clearing his stuff). now i have more space for myself to put my stuff which is almost inundating my bedroom. found some little toys, textbooks, reports, assignments, advertisments blah blah blah, you name it, we(may) have it. it was quite an experience roaming old stuff and deciding what is to stay and what is not, you have to use some brain cells to decide what is relevant now and what is not. i still got loads to clear before i start work, i guess, got to clear my old books, magazines and stuff, and also rearrange my things to make my room look neater. on the side note, i found the medical form lying in my mailbox last friday.*phew* BUT i only got a week to go for my medical check-up!! the dateline is 30th aug!! any later than that i will be deemed rejecting the job offer! the thing is that, urine test is included in the medical checkup, and if you are experiencing your period, you have to wait till your period is over. And yes, i am having it right now, boo-hoo. i was thinking of going to the checkup on friday, hopefully by then my period will be over. friday is the 2nd last day to the dateline yea, dont play play.... ok as i have typed till now, mr ang is obviously still taking his time to shower...haha gonna listen to this again! Speed's newest song-yubiwa(ring)... the lyrics are really very meaningful and the melody is perfect! so, on your speakers... Tuesday, August 17, 2010 - 4:34 PM
just got the message, that my friend's mum passed away. my friends and i are going to the funeral tomorrow to pay our last respects. this makes me ponder about how vulnerable life can be, how things can happen so unexpectedly, and you can do nothing about it.humans can only remain helpless when the worst thing happen. should we turn to religion or faith to seek for a piece of mind? or should we just let nature take its course and perceive it as a natural cycle of life and death? either way, the feeling of pain, and probably remorse too, when losing someone so dear, will still be embedded deep within. and the rain seems to be feeling the same... - 1:38 PM
yes, i am sick. as i have told myself, 小病是福...
today is the 3rd day of my "sick-leave", and as you have guessed, i am kiao-ka-ing at home... there are not many chances that you can stay at home to slack, without the will of wanting to do anything else. actually planned to meet my ex-colleague Janet tonight for a sakae dinner, but had to cancel it cos i dont think i can eat sashimi when i am still coughing. read some news and did window shopping online to spend my noon off. i have to admit that being alone at home is a kind of freedom that you dont get to enjoy sometimes, BUT i need to emphasize that NOBODYcan help u buy lunch when u are sick.*how pathetic* >.< ok, think i shoud go buy my lunch now, and my mum thinks that i am all ok now so she asked me to buy other groceries and the ingredients needed for tonight's dinner.hmm i wonder who is going to cook tonight huh...dont tell me its me again..*sigh* i am SICK ok. o.O going to check my mailbox too, i wonder if vital.org has sent me the medical form for me to go for my medical check-up. please, dont let me regret my decision with scdf.... awww..its always difficult to start blogging. i am just too plain lazy to blog. this is just the 2nd entry for this year, and my convocation had already ended. time really flies, everything was over in just a blink of an eye: FYP, exams, convocation and xieshiyan... and right now, job-hunting. convocation was momentous. it leaves indelible memory even if you only took a few seconds to step onto the stage and receive your certificate. i thank my family, mr ang and my friends for being there for this wonderful occasion. and also xieshiyan, i had loads of fun recapturing wonderful memories with the big DOC family all over again.thank you, my friends, for taking the time to take pictures with me before i had to leave earlier. and thank you, koh jiaxin, for the wonderful collage that you made for all of us, i know i didnt express it well but i was really very touched.*hugs* both events flew passed like no one's business, but then, still...what will happen after all that? its stays empty unless you take a step forward, rite? i am glad that my job-hunting efforts did make some progress. went for 5 interviews in total, and received 2 job offers...from hdb and scdf. i made the latter my final decision, hope i wont regret.*cross my fingers* am now hoping to meet up with my friends before work starts which will make kimo a busier women. :( anyway right now i am TRYING to go on a diet and cut down on my weight. ever since FYP started i had gained an additional of 3kg!!! and it had yet to be removed, and i suspect that my weight is gonna increase soon once i start work! and apparently Angela yang claimed that she lost 7 kg because of her special diet---a meal a day plus lots of exercise.. i wonder how she do that?? ---ok, gonna ask her next wed when i meet up with my uni gals. :) looking forward to meet my ex-colleague too!... will arrange for more meet-ups with friends next week! |
